Alert feature: Growing Degree Days
Growing Degree Days provide a temperature check - a way of measuring the development of your crop.
Say your particular crop takes 400 Growing Degree Days (GDD) to get to harvest, add the forecast cumulative GDD to your current number to monitor your growth and plan the harvest date.
Select a base 0C 5C and 10C depending on your type of crop.
To read more about using GDD in your operations as a tool to assist crop management, please see this article by GRDC.
