What a start to October!
The very active weather of the past few days is beginning to settle, with both the system in the southeast and the central-western system moving away.
However, there is still plenty of active weather ahead this week. A cold front is expected to bring damaging winds and colder temperatures to parts of the southeast, while thunderstorms and strong winds are likely across several other regions at various times this week.
With conditions varying significantly from one location to another, I highly recommend checking your weather app regularly this week to stay up to date with how these systems develop and what they could mean for your local area.
