Conditions rapidly warm up over the weekend as sunny skies turn to cloud.
The next weather system won't be pretty.
Rain begins on Sunday afternoon (early in the west, late in the east) and continues into Monday morning before clearing (early in the west, late in the east). This will be far too warm for anything remotely resembling snow - not even on the highest peaks.
That's part one - part two has some snow in the tail.
Wait for the individual models to align on the timing of the next system. Is it Tuesday or Wednesday that the next rain begins? Once we have that alignment, look for a consensus on when the cold air arrives. Is it Wednesday or Thursday?
Part two begins far too warm as well, but should change over to snow when the cold air that is driving this system catches up.
